Our Patient Services
We offer comprehensive care related to all aspects of kidney diseases, dialysis, renal transplantation, Hypertension management, Kidney stones and cancers.We manage a wide array of kidney problems including acute kidney failure, acute and chronic glomerular diseases, chronic kidney disease, anemia management, resistant hypertension management, kidney stones.
Dialysis Services
We perform In center hemodialysis at various dialysis centers in the region.
We train and manage home hemodialysis and home peritoneal dialysis.
Inpatient Services
Our Physicians are credentialized and round on inpatients every day at the following acute care hospitals in the region.
Kidney Transplantation Services
All of our physicians are active and committed with the care of kidney transplant patients. We work in close conjunction with the patient’s transplant center in this management. We evaluate patients for kidney transplantation. We perform pre-transplant evaluations and screening. We follow patients post transplant as soon as they are released from the care of the acute transplant team.
We work closely with the following renal transplantation programs :
- Henry Ford Kidney Transplant Program, Detroit MI.
- University of Michigan Kidney Transplant Program, Ann Arbor MI.
- Detroit Medical Center Transplant Services, Detroit MI.
- St John Providence Kidney Transplant Program.
- Beaumont health System Kidney Transplant Program.
Kidney disease and Dialysis Education and Nutrition Services
We offer “Kidney Smart” advanced kidney disease and dialysis education classes for patients and their caregivers so they can learn about their disease and lifestyle changes that can impact their prognosis.
Our renal dieticians Melissa Pieper is available to talk to you about dietary changes to improve your kidney health either at our office or at your home.
